Standards our factory works to

  • Certified

    HACCP

Hazard Analysis & Critical Control Points

Our food safety system controls hazards at every critical step, from raw materials to packing.

    What is HACCP?
    What it stands for
Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points, an internationally recognised food safety system.
    What it does
Identifies biological, chemical and physical hazards and controls them at the critical points of production, with monitoring and records at each step.
    What it means for buyers
Food safety is managed as a system, not left to final inspection, so risks are controlled before products leave the factory.
  • Certified

    GMP

    Good Manufacturing Practice

Hygiene and operating standards for our premises, equipment, staff and storage.

    What is GMP?
    What it stands for
Good Manufacturing Practice, the basic hygiene and operating conditions every food factory needs.
    What it covers
Clean premises and equipment, trained staff and personal hygiene, pest control, raw material handling and proper storage.
    How it relates to HACCP
GMP is the foundation. HACCP builds on it by controlling the specific hazards of each product and process.
  • Registered

    FDA

US Food & Drug Administration food facility

Registered as a food facility with the US FDA, so our products can be exported to the United States.

    What is FDA?
    Why it is needed
US law requires every facility that makes, processes, packs or holds food for the US market to register with the FDA.
    Who checks it
The FDA can inspect registered food facilities and screens imported food when it arrives in the United States.
    Good to know
Registration is a legal requirement to export to the US. It is not an FDA approval or endorsement of a company or its products.
  • Recognised

    5S

    Workplace organisation & productivity

Recognised for a clean, organised production floor that keeps quality consistent.

    What is 5S?
    Where it comes from
A Japanese workplace method used by manufacturers worldwide.
    The five steps
Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardise and Sustain.
    What it means for buyers
A clean, organised production floor with fewer errors and more consistent quality from batch to batch.

Questions about our certifications

Short answers to what importers and retail buyers ask most.

Is PPF Yummy approved by the US FDA?

Our factory is registered with the US FDA as a food facility, which is required to export food to the United States. The FDA does not approve or certify food companies, so registration is the correct status for an exporter.

What is the difference between HACCP and GMP?

GMP sets the basic hygiene and operating conditions of the whole factory. HACCP builds on it by identifying the specific hazards of each product and controlling them at the critical steps of production.

Do these standards certify the products or the factory?

HACCP and GMP certify how our factory works: its food safety system, hygiene and processes. That system applies to the products we make there, from raw materials to the finished jar.

Why does 5S matter in food production?

5S keeps the production floor clean and organised. That reduces mistakes and contamination risks, and keeps quality consistent from batch to batch.
